Chase Field is in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It's where the Arizona Diamondbacks, a Major League Baseball team, play. The stadium opened in 1998 and was the first in the U.S. to have a retractable roof over real grass. It's great for the hot desert weather. The place can hold about 48,000 people and has cool stuff like a swimming pool and a big scoreboard to make fans happy. The area around the stadium is buzzing with lots of restaurants, bars, hotels, and fun stuff like the Phoenix Convention Center and the Talking Stick Resort Arena. This makes game days super lively, and it’s easy to get there using the Valley Metro light rail and nearby freeways. Chase Field doesn’t just host baseball – it puts on all sorts of events, making it a key spot for sports and entertainment in the city.
